I just received the December 2009 issue of Gameiformer and was impressed but also disappointed with some of its picks for top 200 games of all time. How are you going to put Vagrant Story in and leave out Crash Bandicoot or Parappa the Rappa? I have never played a demo more in my life than those 2 games! also Ridge Racer? Come on! Another game people only played the demo for was added to the list while overlooking Crusin USA? Come on!! No Perfect Dark? Sure, Golden Eye brought multi player first person shooters to the home but Perfect Dark perfected it and is still untouched as the most expansive first person shooter EVER!!! Other games left out are Madden 95 and KILLER INSTINCT! Sorry about the intensity I drank way to much coffee this morning while reading this crap list.
I was pleased with some of your choices but as the list went on it turned from gold to poop. My brother quizzed me by telling me the console and I would guess the game. I guessed all the way to 11 in correct order. He also made me guess a few randoms which i guessed the correct rank and games located close to it. F.E. Civilization i guessed 36 with SimCity probably close to it and was correct. I really think those games compliment each other well.
Write back and i will keep Gameinformer updated on how i feel about the magazine. REALLY!?! Galaga but no Gradius? Come on!!!
